This week we focus on how God loves us no matter what. This is a foundational concept that even some adults struggle with. We forget that we do not have to earn His love; He loved us even knowing the hot mess we would be at times; He loves us in spite of us. “Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love.” -Romans 8:39 NIrV

The Prodigal Son is a great story to show kids that God loves them no matter what.  Not only did God create them and has a plan for them, but He loves them so very much. Don’t forget to keep working on the Memory Verse. You may want to think of a reward to give them at the end of the month if they can say it all by themselves.

Start by encouraging the kids to stand up and dance while they worship. We have 3 songs that the kids are sure to enjoy. After worship, we have a Bible Story Video that is fun and interactive. Here’s a snapshot of the lesson details for this week:

Bible Story Focus: God loves me no matter what. (Prodigal Son • Luke 15:11-24)
