Special Needs

Looking for a biblical community with a desire to engage people with differing abilities? At Abundant Life Lee’s Summit, we provide an environment for individuals with special needs to know they have a place and a purpose.

We are ready to walk side-by-side with you as you follow Jesus. Are you ready for the journey?

Sunday Morning Classes

The Special Needs Ministry of Abundant Life encourages people of all ages within the disability community to take their next step of faith. During Sunday morning services, the special needs ministry meets for class organized by age; Children’s, Teens, and Adults. These happen across all campuses at different times and locations.

Parent Support Group

Our parent support group is an encouraging community for parents and caregivers. They meet every 3rd Sunday at 9:35 am the Lee’s Summit Campus.

Respite Event

Blue Springs & Independence Campuses

Saturday, October 14, 3:00–6:00 pm

Families and caregivers often find it difficult to step away and recharge. With Respite events, an evening of crafts, games and fun are offered for participants ages 3 years and older with disabilities and their siblings ages 5-12.
