What is truth? In an age where it is becoming increasingly normal to lie in order to get what you want, how can children know what to believe? Kids already struggle with truth because their mind’s imagination can seem so real to them. Imaginary friends can seem just as real to them as a real person.
So how can we anchor them to the truth? Through the Bible. Several men, including Paul, wrote down what they saw Jesus do while He walked among us. As part of the trinity, Jesus is incapable of lying. Everything Jesus says is truth. It’s this truth that Paul shared with the people of Rome. This week, I spy someone who tells the truth. Jesus is how we anchor our kids to the truth.
