Kindergarten & Pre-K, June 21: I Spy Someone Who Believes In Jesus

Young kids will believe there is a Jesus because we tell them so, but they don’t yet believe IN Jesus. We will build upon the foundation for them to have true faith in Jesus as we continue to ask, “Who can believe in Jesus?”

I spy someone who believes in Jesus when I look at the life of Paul.  But Paul didn’t always believe. Paul was against Jesus and everyone that believed in Him; he didn’t believe in the new law Jesus gave to loves others as Jesus loved. Then Paul actually met Jesus and his life was never the same.

Here’s a snapshot of what we’ll spy this week:
Bible Story Focus: I spy someone who believes in Jesus. (Paul’s Conversion • Acts 9:1-20)
Memory Verse: “These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.” John 20:31, NLV
Key Question: Who can believe in Jesus?
Bottom Line: I can believe in Jesus.

We’ll begin with our Puppet’s, Link & Skyler, as they get a special visitor to help them play I Spy. Next, we’ll jump into worship as we sing and dance for God. Lastly, let’s sit back down and watch the Bible Story Video where we spy Paul learning how to love people once he sees the light and finally believes in Jesus.

As you finish the video lessons and worship, you can use the attached materials to help reinforce the story as well as bring Jesus to their level. Be sure to watch the Memory Verse video. It provides hand motions that help make it easier to remember the verse. We’ll be working on memorizing this verse all summer.

As we wrap up, I’d like to leave you with one of kids’ favorite ‘good-bye’ songs:
Let Me See Your Alligator

Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in bringing the Bible alive for your kid(s). We are creating the foundation for when we send them out into the world. May their aim be true and for His glory.

“Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth” Proverbs 22:6
