Have you ever said or done something and then immediately knew you had messed up. We often wish we can take back our words or actions that hurt the people we love. We can’t take them away but God still loves us.
This week we will show kids that, even after the bad choices we make, God still loves us. A great picture of this is the life of Peter. Peter was head strong and often put his foot in his mouth. The worst was when Peter denied that he even knew Jesus. Thankfully, I spy someone Jesus loves, no matter what.
Here’s a snapshot of what we’ll spy this week:
Bible Story Focus: I spy someone Jesus loves, no matter what. (Peter’s Denial • Luke 22:54-62; John 21:15-19; Ephesians 2:8-9)
Memory Verse: “These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.” John 20:31, NLV
Key Question: Who can believe in Jesus?
Bottom Line: I can believe in Jesus.
Let’s start with our Puppet Skit as we join Link talking about how Jesus loves us. Next, we’re going to sing and shout that we believe in Jesus and about how God is good. Then sit back down and relax as we spy someone Jesus loves, no matter what, in our Bible Story Video.
