Kindergarten & Pre-K, June 28: I Spy Someone I Can Tell About Jesus

Life would be boring without all our differences but it can be hard talking to people who don’t talk like us, look like us, or believe the same way we do. Jesus didn’t say go tell people exactly like us about Him but to teach all nations. So who can we share Jesus with? Everyone!

Here’s a snapshot of what we’ll spy this week:
Bible Story Focus: I spy someone I can tell about Jesus. (Peter and Cornelius • Acts 10)
Memory Verse: “These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.” John 20:31, NLV
Key Question: Who can believe in Jesus?
Bottom Line: I can believe in Jesus.

First, let's jump right into worship as we sing and dance for God. Then we can sit down and watch the Bible Story Video where we spy Peter sharing Jesus with people that are not the same as him.

Worship – Jesus Hokie Pokie Song
Bible Story Video – I Spy Someone I Can Tell About Jesus

As you finish the video lessons and worship, you can use the attached materials to help reinforce the story as well as bring Jesus to their level. We’ve been working on the memory verse all month so this would be a good time to see if they can say it all by themselves. If not, don’t worry, we are going to keep working on it through July.

**NEW** Last, we have a great science illustration to show how God can change our lives. Watch with your kids as Miss Maddie takes you through how to do this at home with your kids:
Elephant Toothpaste – God’s Love

As we wrap up, I’d like to leave you with one of kids’ favorite ‘good-bye’ songs:
Let Me See Your Alligator

Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in bringing the Bible alive for your kid(s). We are creating the foundation for when we send them out into the world. May their aim be true and for His glory.
