We give because God owns it all.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”—Psalm 24:1
When we understand God gave us everything we have, we can give back to Him with open arms and an open heart.
Praying for and serving our neighbors and “the least of these” in our communities is a way to be living proof of a loving God to a watching world (Matthew 25:31-46). Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have the potential to bring healing and restoration to individuals, families, and communities, reconciling the world to Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
Our family and children’s ministry provide teaching materials, support, and classes to help parents disciple their children because we know that discipleship and spiritual conversations start at home. We also believe today’s youth is critical to the future of our society. Fusion students is our youth program designed to be a safe and enjoyable place where middle and high school students can hear relevant biblical teaching. God is using Abundant Life to strengthen and heal marriages, families, and individuals through ministries such as Paradigm, Re:gen, Singles, Men’s and Women’s Groups, Care Groups, Counseling Services, Merge, and much more. Not only do we want to strengthen and heal, but we also love to celebrate! We host fun events such as Revival Family Weekend and an annual carnival where more than 12,000 people attend and hear the message of salvation.
Abundant life believes in meeting the needs of the community so that doors are opened to sharing the irresistible love of Jesus to those around us. We partnered with more than 600 nonprofits in various ways throughout the year, such as the Love KC event, fueled by the passion for seeing lives changed by Jesus. Through this community outreach, pregnant and single moms, cancer patients, young men in substance abuse treatment, and many more are served.
We meet the needs of families in the community through Abundant Life Food Pantries located in Lee’s Summit and Independence, helping meet needs in our communities by providing free food and other resources to those in need. We provide respite care for children and families with special needs and host a Back to School Giveaway where school-aged children in the Independence and Blue Springs area can get free school supplies, hygiene products, clothes, and haircuts.

To fulfill the Great Commission, we want to do the impossible through Jesus. We are multiplying gathering places in new locations to reach more people for Jesus, from building the new Crossroads Campus in downtown Kansas City to equipping people everywhere to plant Church Houses.
We are also reaching the nations in our local neighborhoods. Our Live Sent Mission is a unique ministry that goes out into the local community to reach the nations by serving and meeting with refugees, international students, inner-city youth, and other cultures within our community. We believe Jesus is building His Church, and we are eager to be a part of God’s kingdom advancing.

Giving is not about the size of the gift but about the size of the sacrifice.
“Giving is about growth, not about guilt.”—Pastor Phil Hopper
We are thankful for those who choose to live generously. Without you, thousands of lives would go unchanged each year. When you live for eternity and kingdom priorities, your dollars mean destinies. And because of cheerful givers like you and lives are changed.
