Hi Journey Kids parents!
Haman had it in for the Jews. He’d been looking for a way to destroy them ever since one Jewish man named Mordecai refused to bow down before him. Haman was a high official in the court of the Persian king Xerxes. What Haman didn’t know was that Xerxes’ queen – Esther – was of Jewish descent! Mordecai found out about Haman’s plot and he warned Esther and ultimately God used her to protect the Jewish people from destruction.
When it’s time to begin, start your morning of family worship by watching the short lesson video followed by a worship song with your kids. [You can access the videos here.] It’s a great way to engage spiritually with your family.

I don’t know what God’s purpose is for you – but I know He has one. And not just some grand, future purpose. He has a purpose for you right now. There is good that He intends for you to do right now. My prayer is that you would live out His purpose for you this week.
