Hello Journey Kids families!

We are so glad that you are joining us this week and are excited about lives being changed by Jesus through the investment of time spent reviewing this content with your family. We appreciate the impact you are making when you share this content! This week Pastor Jeremy shares how we can dare to live differently for Jesus.

I’m not scared of heights, but I do have enough of a healthy fear of gravity and impact that I feel weird on the edges of cliffs or the roofs of houses.  Despite this I love jumping off cliffs into the lake.  There is something about the surge of adrenaline that makes me look forward to the leap despite the anxious feeling making my way up and to the edge.

Sometimes living my faith feels the same way.  When a neighbor or co-worker makes a comment that shows me their need for love, grace, and mercy and I know it can only come from Jesus.  When it opens a great door to share the gospel, I feel that same feeling of anxiousness.  However, they respond to the love and the good news. I always then feel the adrenaline surge as I recognize that I was just by Jesus for someone He loves.

Are you ready to learn more about how we should see people as Jesus sees them? Gather your family and watch this week’s episode of the Journey Today Show here.

After the video, you can use the attached materials to help take your family deeper into the lesson:

I challenge you today to live differently, look at people the way Jesus does, and then do the things Jesus did… For them.

Differently is good, and I bet you’ll enjoy it … You were created for it.
