Hi Journey Kids parents!
For the second week, we’ll be answering the all-important question of “Who is Jesus?” You’ve probably heard before that Jesus is the “Good Shepherd,” but what exactly does that mean for us? That’s what we’ll be talking about this week during our family lesson.
As usual, when it’s time to begin, start your morning of worship by watching the short lesson video with your kids. (You can access the YouTube playlist here.) It’s a great way to engage spiritually with your family. And don’t forget to participate in the worship videos from Yancy afterwards—one song is for older kids and one is for younger kids.

Big Idea: Jesus is the good shepherd, so we should listen to His voice and follow Him.
Memory Verse: “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” John 10:14 (NIrV)

And finally, I’d like to leave you with a blessing that many of us could use right now. It comes from the Book of Numbers 6:24-26, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” May you and your family rest in the peace of Jesus this week!
