Hi Journey Kids parents!

The Bible is an amazing book. It tells us about our incredible God who created us for relationship with Him. It tells us that He sent His Son to give up His own life to restore that relationship when we broke it by our sin. It tells us how He wants us to live in the world He made. The best part is that it’s all true! The God of the universe really has spoken through the pages of the Bible and really has made a way for us to experience relationship with Him again.

When it’s time to begin, start your morning of family worship by watching the short lesson video with your kids. [You can access the videos here.] It’s a great way to engage spiritually with your family.

Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this week:

Bible Story: The Truth About the Bible

Big Idea: The Bible is God’s Word, so I can know it’s true.

Memory Verse: “Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105 (NIrV)

After the video lesson and music, you can use the attached materials to help take your family deeper into the lesson:

Thank you for investing in the next generation by showing them the path. It is so important for our children to know they can turn to the Bible when they seek answers. Have you shared with your family what wisdom you have gained from the Bible lately? It is a great model to start a good family conversation!
