Hi Journey Kids parents!
This weekend we’re going to hear how God healed His people of deadly snake venom by lifting up a bronze snake. It’s a bizarre story, right? But this bizarre story gives an incredible picture of how God healed us of sin by lifting up His Son. Your kids will learn to think about and understand the mercy of God in a whole new way!
When it’s time to begin, start your morning of family worship by watching the short lesson video with your kids. (You can access the YouTube playlist here.) It’s a great way to engage spiritually with your family. And don’t forget to participate in the worship videos from Yancy afterwards—one song is for older kids and one is for younger kids.

We can forget sometimes just how simple the good news of Jesus is. The people of Israel had only to look at the bronze snake to find healing. We need only to look to the Savior who was lifted up on the cross for us. Look to Him this week.
