Auditions
Thank you for your interest in auditioning for our worship ministry at Abundant Life!
Our instrumentalists and vocalists serve in our campus weekend services, as well as various ministries of our church. Abundant Life is sustained by its amazing volunteers, and we are so excited about the possibility of partnering in ministry with you to see lives changed by Jesus through art that inspires worship!
PLEASE NOTE:
In addition to attending Worship Onramp and First Look, anyone who would like to audition must go through NextSteps Class at one of our locations.

What to prepare:
All instrumentalists and vocalists are asked to prepare the TWO corresponding songs for their live audition (custom arrangements of each song linked below):
Keys:

Acoustic Guitar:

Electric Guitar:

When to arrive:
In order to best accommodate everyone, we ask that you sign up for an available time to audition HERE. You will receive confirmation via email once your audition is scheduled, as well as a reminder notification in the days leading up to your audition, so please check your inbox. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your call time so we can help get you settled and set up with in-ear monitors and instrument (if applicable). If something comes up that prevents you from attending your scheduled audition time, please notify us ASAP.
Where to go:
Please see below for where to park and enter at each of our campuses and one of our team members will be there to greet you:
Blue Springs:
Park in the main lot near the front entrance and enter through the front door.
Crossroads:
Park on Cherry St. and enter through the front glass doors.
Independence:
Park on the east side of the building and enter through the side office door.
Lee’s Summit:
Park on the backside (north) of the building and enter through the central door backstage.
What to expect:
Each audition will last approximately 10 minutes. Upon entering, you will wait with someone from our team until called into the auditorium. We will show you how to connect to our in-ear monitor system and allow you to test click and track levels before your audition begins.
After this initial set-up, you will then be asked to perform your TWO corresponding audition songs along with the click and practice track. (Please note that we may record your audition for reviewing purposes in the coming days.) After your audition is over, one of our team members will escort you out.
What comes next:
In the coming week, we will review your audition and evaluate potential and relevant opportunities for you to serve. You will receive a follow-up via email with your next steps. Again, we are so grateful for your interest in serving with Abundant Life Worship.
