God said that we would receive power through the Holy Spirit, but it seems that few men know how to access it. The enemy takes advantage of us through our ignorance, but we are going to explore the alignment required to have power, as found in 1 John 3
We'll discover the biblical principles of leading a family and creating a home filled with joy, peace and blessing based on the examples Jesus set through His life, death, and sacrificial living; how to navigate difficulty and conflict; and finally, how to set the example for our children to own their faith and grow into biblical leadership.
Men need to understand stewardship as it relates to the Kingdom of our Christ. One day, every man will give an account for how he leveraged his income to advance the Kingdom. We will explore ways to align ourselves with principles that lead to eternal reward and investments.
In our society, troubling trends emerge in the western church: the conflation of faith and personal values, the confusion of religious nationalism, and the colonization of a post-Christian culture. Let us understand how the gospel transcends the polarization of these trends.
Leaders are not born, but they are forged by their conscience, their convictions, their character, and their courage. God is on the move and opportunities to lead are abundant at Abundant Life. We believe God has a place for you in ministry and those opportunities are before you now.
Often as dads we try to be a good boss, it is the model we have been taught. My family needs me to lead well. But how? “If you think you’re leading and no one is following, you’re only taking a walk.” We will look at four areas that dads must have to lead well.
