Open Positions

Videographer (Part-time) – Lee's Summit Campus

Abundant Life is seeking a creative mind with a heart for both telling great stories, and the artistic and technical ability to take a video project from concept to completion. This person will have the opportunity to develop and craft videos that mobilize and inspire our congregation. Abundant Life strives to reach people for God by providing meaningful content on a personal level each week, with the goal of advancing both our mission of seeing lives changes through Jesus, and our vision of being proof of a loving God to a watching world.

Groups Pastor (Full-time) – Lee's Summit Support Services

The Groups Pastor will oversee the consistency of the Groups Ministry across all Abundant Life campuses in regard to developing leaders, helping AL members find biblical community, and shepherding those already involved in the 200+ offsite community groups.

Social Media Manager (Full-time) – Lee's Summit Campus

The Social Media Manager is responsible for producing engaging, creative, relevant, effective, and innovative social content that effectively grows the AL online presence while communicating the mission and vision of the church. This person will be a forward thinker with a clear understanding of and interest in innovation and the digital space. This role operates under the direction of the Communications Director and is critical in supporting and building Abundant Life’s social media presence as we continue to be “living proof of a loving God to a watching world”.

Executive Assistant (Part-time) – Lee's Summit Campus

The position of Executive Assistant will provide support to the Executive Director of Ministry, and will be called upon to handle administrative issues, scheduling, and research, as well as support needed in the areas that the Executive Director of Ministry oversees, such as "Groups, Discipleship, Men's and Women's Ministries, Communications, Connections, Outreach, Students and the Executive Team".

Online Ministry Coordinator (Part-time) – Lee's Summit Campus

The position of Online Ministry Coordinator will provide support to the Online Pastor (OP), and will be called upon to handle administrative issues, scheduling, and research, as well as support needed in the areas that the OP oversees, such as Spiritual Formation, Groups, Discipleship, Men’s & Women’s Ministries, Singles, and Young Adults.

Campus Production Technician (Full-time)

The Campus Production Technician is responsible for executing production support for all campuses. This role will be involved with a variety of technical disciplines and will strongly influence the various ministries and volunteer teams throughout the church. We are looking for someone with the ability to understand the entirety of the Production Department’s scope and implement it in specific areas. This role will require strong task-management skills to continually evaluate services and their translation to our campuses. The Campus Production Technician will be part of the Production team and report to the Campus Technical Director.

Internships

Interns are High School or College students completing internships in cooperation with their school. They receive mentoring in regard to leadership principles, emotional intelligence, professional assessments, etc. from Jeff Cox and Krystal Dunahee as well as the department they work.

Interns have a specific beginning and end date, work 10-15 hours a week and are provided with access to resources to help them be successful in their role.
