Open Positions

Videographer (Part-time) – Lee's Summit Campus

Abundant Life is seeking a creative mind with a heart for both telling great stories, and the artistic and technical ability to take a video project from concept to completion. This person will have the opportunity to develop and craft videos that mobilize and inspire our congregation. Abundant Life strives to reach people for God by providing meaningful content on a personal level each week, with the goal of advancing both our mission of seeing lives changes through Jesus, and our vision of being proof of a loving God to a watching world.

Facilities Technician (Full-time) – Blue Springs Campus

The Facilities Technician is responsible for various duties associated with the maintaining and keeping of Abundant Life properties in excellent shape in terms of visual appeal, functionality, and safety. In addition, this position handles setup and ministry support for weekly and special events. Overall, the Facilities Technician should expect a 60/40 split between building/grounds maintenance and ministry support. A diverse skill set is imperative to assess and resolve minor issues that arise with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, housekeeping, architectural repair, and maintenance of all buildings, equipment and grounds. This position will work closely with the Facilities Lead and Facilities Director. Licensed professionals will be contracted for all major repair needs outside the scope of the Facilities Department.

Campus Technical Director

The Campus Technical Director is responsible for executing production support for the Crossroads campus (CRS) as well as overseeing production staff and volunteers across all campuses outside of the Lee’s Summit campus (LST). This role will be highly involved in the decision-making process for technical/production aspects churchwide and will report to the Executive Pastor of Worship.

Lead Videographer (Full-time) – Lee's Summit Campus

Abundant Life is seeking an imaginative team member with the ability to develop the video storytelling component of our church. The Lead Videographer will direct the vision of video production within the Communications department and support ministries by producing engaging stories and promotional pieces. As a leader in content creation, a teller of life change stories, and someone who is on the cutting edge of video production and editing, this person will allow us to inspire our church body, the surrounding community, and connected ministries to advance our mission of seeing lives changed by Jesus, as well as our vision of being living proof of a loving God to a watching world.

Worship Leader/Pastor (Full-time) – Crossroads Campus

The Campus Worship Leader is primarily responsible for the Sunday morning worship experience at our Crossroads campus location, from leading the band & vocalist to developing the leadership and worship culture at AL.

Internships

Interns are High School or College students completing internships in cooperation with their school. They receive mentoring in regard to leadership principles, emotional intelligence, professional assessments, etc. from Jeff Cox and Krystal Dunahee as well as the department they work.

Interns have a specific beginning and end date, work 10-15 hours a week and are provided with access to resources to help them be successful in their role.
